The Insanity

the darkness within
a cold heart resides
deep inside my body
the black lifeblood
that seeps through the cracks
of your once though mind
the insanity, it
embraces you
cuddles you,
helps you to let go
to all thoughts,
to all your rationality
and leaves a shell
of the pearl you once were,
all that's left is a husk
a lonely black stone
to be stepped on
to be thrown away on a whim
tossed into the puddle,
the lake
or the ocean
never to be seen again
